The Challenges

The business grew from a commercial air conditioning base and began to expand into the residential market, using a range of local advertising channels. Before partnering with Media Heroes, the Technicool website had almost no organic rankings and relied on referrals and word of mouth, which limited the growth potential of the business.  The website needed to be rebuilt and the SEO campaign had to start from the very beginning.

The Solution

Media Heroes to develop the right website architecture and build to support a major SEO campaign to grow the residential market and support the commercial side of the business. We used SEO as the foundation for growth, with periodic Paid Search campaigns to boost demand in the colder months of the year. This is an exceptional example of a local Brisbane SEO strategy combining the optimisation of the core service pages, suburb targeting, significant authority building and an ambitious content marketing strategy.

Rapid growth, then sustained success

A few months after launching the website, over 50% of Technicool’s target keywords were on page one, leading to a huge influx of traffic, leads, and sales. The SEO campaign that we ran increased their rankings further, and today, Technicool has more than double the Google ranking performance of their closest competitor. The website experienced 18% compound organic growth between 2022 and 2024 and continues to attract greater numbers of organic visitors each year.

Technicool were happy to invest in SEO over the long term, as they could see the performance increases from the campaign. Prior to the SEO campaign, the website started with fewer than 1,000 organic visitors per month, which rose to over 18,500 organic visitors. In the last 4 years, the annual growth has exceeded 18.5%.
